TastyTrade brokerage is offer a $500 cash bonus for new customers with their February referral-doubling offer. Here are the details.

  • Open via a referral link by 2/28/25; the promo code PDEJDAPG9W should already be populated. That’s my referral link, thanks if you use it. I receive my own bonus from TastyTrade without issue, although it wasn’t as good as this one.
  • Open a new securities brokerage account at tastytrade with a valid email address.
  • Fund the new account with at least $5,000 within 60 days of opening, and maintain that balance for at least 6 months.
  • Within 30 days of meeting these requirements, you’ll get a $500 cash deposited into your account or receive a check if opening an IRA.

Thanks to Dividend Growth Investor for the tip.

There is an alternative deposit bonus available, but you would need to deposit at least $100,000 and hold it there for 12 months to beat this offer at their $2,000 tier.

Earning a $500 bonus on a $5,000 deposit for 6 months is a solid 20% annualized return, plus you can invest your deposit as you wish. Buying the SGOV ETF would be like holding T-Bills and earn another ~4% yield safely.

  1. Unfortunately, unless they changed their policy, TT bonuses are only a one-and-done deal. They won’t allow customers to take advantage of more than one offer per lifetime.

Verify if you like, as their customer is quick to respond to emails.
