First, you will need to find some industrial fertilizer and plain sugar to make some flash powder. Next, you should make sure your fire extinguisher is properly maintained and filled.
Okay, so I’m kidding. Perhaps we should just stick to watching the nice public fireworks displays. Otherwise my next post might be “How to lose your entire net worth through a negligence lawsuit!” 😀 Happy Independence Day!
HAHA. I saw the title and thought you were crazy, so I just had to click the link to see what you were suggesting 🙂
From the Washington Post: “Nearly 99 percent of all fireworks sold legally in the United States are imported from China, according to the American Pyrotechnics Association, a trade group.”
Wow, that makes me feel so very patriotic today.
Anyway, Happy Independence Day, US workers living your high standard of living, earning your high wages, so high, in fact, that labor-intensive basic industries move by market forces overseas in the most ironic ways!
HAHA great post!
This is hilarious!! As someone who has tried this I do not recommend it.
You forgot to recommend getting the kids involved. Kids love making fireworks!
Happy Independence Day!
Haha. Good one. I’m looking for Trent to do a tutorial (with pictures) on this one.
is it april fool’s yet. Happy independence day!!!!
Happy Independence Day to all your readers! We had a very frugal Independence Day. We do not have any lawn chairs on our paito, so we decided to spend $50 bucks on two chairs for my wife and I to be able sit outside and enjoy the fireworks that everyone else bought and lit off. It was quite a show! Now our $50 investment will go much farther as we can sit outside and enjoy the nice weather this time of year!
That’s definitely a good title to get someone’s attention. I was hoping that you were only kidding! LOL
OMG LOL your headline made me blurt out, “lawsuit, incoming!” I’m so glad it was all in jest! Happy 4th!
wow haha i just had to see if this was a serious post.
You said, “you should make sure your fire extinguisher is properly maintained and filled.” Excellent advice. That is something we often over look and, when we feel secure in the presence of the fire extinguisher, we may not be.
