Catching up on housekeeping this weekend, I ran across my stash of Bed, Bath, and Beyond coupons. For those that shop at BBB, if you sign up for their mailing list in-store, you regularly get coupons for ‘20% off any single item’, with some brand restrictions like Dyson vacuums. The great thing about these coupons is that they never expire. I’ve been to many BBB stores from many states, and there is an unstated policy that they accept any coupon, even though there is an expiration date clearly printed on each one!
So I always keep two in the car – one for me, one for my wife – so we never have to pay full price there. We had a ton of store credit after our wedding a while back, and they basically knew us by name. Oh, and they also have coupons for $5 off $15 purchases that are great for smaller items.
Another tip for people who are getting married: If you do your wedding regsitry at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, you can return gifts on your registry for cash, not just store credit. Very nice, and also not advertised by them. Unfortunately, certain people decided to buy us stuff not on our registry, so we had to settle for store credit.
I find some BB&B stores to be somewhat dirty. Fortunately, Linens N’ Things also accepts these coupons.
Didn’t know that LNT took them, thanks! Expired ones too?
Thanks Jonathan…I didn’t know they honored expired coupons. Now I don’t have to clean out the stash monthly 😉
Good to know they honor expired coupons. I always go with a coupon. I’m expecting one any day now, which I’ll used to buy a second set of sheets for my new bed…
Can we use more than one coupon at a time?
Yes you can use multiple coupons at both BBB & LNT.
I’ve never been able to use more than one 20% off coupon per item at BBB. I really doubt they are stackable.
In the past, I’ve used these coupons to buy Christmas gifts. I didn’t know that somes stores accept them after the expiration date.
Yes, They ARE stackable coupons up to a point (I think they will only take up to 5- one coupon per item up to five items) I’ve even had BBB employees tell me which combo of $5 off and 20% off coupons to use to get max benefit!
